i just got finished editing and posting a bunch of pics from my church's beach retreat. i had fun with some great "models".

malachi ryan

my friends oleah & mark just had their third child, a boy! their first little man is named malachi ryan and he is a white boy with blonde hair and a little Filipino nose!! i wonder how long that will last? the whiteness and hair i mean...

allison & eb's wedding

these photos are from last July from my bff from high school, allison's wedding. gotta love that turquoise! I took these with the canon 10D and edited them in lightroom, which for some reason unexpectedly closes on me... rrrrr.

my good friends pam & jon got married this past may. i was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in the wedding and get to hang out with the lovely ladies. here are some pics taken with our bobo KodakCX6330 and edited in lightroom.

so my camera came today and i've run around taking photos of whatever catches my eye. so we've got some laundry, some plants, some buddies, and the garden.

black and white

i took a photography class at santa fe community college over a year ago. we had to use black and white film, shoot with an slr on manual mode, process the film, and develop the photos ourselves. it was a blast.

fanta and caipifresa

this is fanta, the official drink of costa rica.

ok, so it's just my favorite drink to consume in costa rica. so what?

consequently, or not, it's also my favorite food item to photograph when I'm there. I think it's the colors that grab me. So bright. So beautiful. So... go gators!














unless i'm feeling in the mood for something with a little kick. in which case, i go for the caipifresa.

it's amazing. crushed strawberries, limes, turbinado raw sugar, and some kind of alcohol.

plus it looks so pretty. who can resist?
