New blog! Go win stuff!

It's time to move over to the new blog! To kick of the week, jc{P} is giving away a custom script hanger by Lila Frances! As a wedding photographer, I practically swooned upon the discovery of these beauties. Nothing makes a beautiful wedding gown sing more than when hung on one of these! One of my brides, Shanna, who got married this spring had one for her wedding. Check it out below:

You can have these custom made with any name or word up to 14 characters! I bought one for my sister-in-law and gave it to her at her bridal shower. She loved it.

So today I am giving one away to one of you lucky readers! Just leave a comment on this post! And even if you aren’t getting married, these hangers would look great in a child’s room or in your lingerie section of the wardrobe!;)Or maybe you know someone getting married who would love this as a gift! In any case, enter away!!

But you have to go to the NEW BLOG to do it! So go go go!

Monday Monday....

On Monday you can say goodbye to this blog. It's obviously not being used much anymore. I thought it was about time to retire it. We're starting a new life down in Jupiter, FL and sometimes a new life means letting old things go!

Never fear though - something new fabulous and awesome is a-coming to replace it and it's even updated! Can you imagine!!?? ;-) What could it be?

Photo Collages - Gainesville, FL Portrait Photographer

Photo collages are a wonderful way to display several of your favorite prints from your wedding, portrait session, or event! Take a look at some of my examples from recent photo sessions. :-)

A four image collage with 8x8 square photos for a 20x20 frame:

A four image collage with an 11x14 and three 5x7 photos for a 20x24 frame. This design can be rotated to allow three horizontal images and one large vertical image:

A nine image collage with six 4x6, two 5x7, and one 8x10 photo for a 20x20 frame. This design can be rotated to allow more horizontal images:

We are also able to create custom photo collages if you had something else in mind. Oh, and if you need help locating a frame for your collage, we'd be happy to help you find some options or acquire one for you.

New Books! Gainesville, FL Wedding Photographer

I'm so excited about my new gallery style book offerings! These are perfect for displaying your engagement photos at your wedding and doubling for a guest book that you know you'll look at again and again! They come in several sizes, my favorite is the 8.5x11 horizontal for the guestbook, pictured here:

I'm also able to make duplicates of the larger albums with these books for your family share albums. Check out how wonderful they look as they lay flat and have the tiniest gap between their perfectly lined up pages!

Both books have the option of getting a leatherette, fabric, or photo cover. The gallery guest book starts out with 20 pages and the family share duplicate also with 20 pages. You can also order a wedding gallery book with 20 pages. This is a more traditional minimalist design book with photos on a white background and images tastefully arranged on the layout.

Hope you enjoy and hit me up on the email to find out more about our portrait & wedding services! :-)

editing editing editing...

So lately, with it being winter and all, I've been spending less time taking photos and more time editing! Today I felt under the weather and just like me, even though I was home sick from work, I couldn't stand not to get something done!

So today I edited pics from Jocelyn & Jeremy's wedding and my work friend Virginia & Chris' wedding (my poor friends have to wait so long!) since I'm caught up on the business work! Check out Jocy & Jeremy's full ceremony shots here. You just can't compare to that Colorado beauty! I can't wait to get started on their formals & reception shots! It was a really good time!

Virginia & Chris' wedding we attended as guests, but of course, couldn't resist an opportunity to hone our skills, use our new Metz flash, and get some great pics! You can see their whole slideshow here. See the post below for some pics with more pizzazz.

It's getting warmer, so that means more weddings! We're very excited to be getting so many inquiries this year and already are booked for three weddings this spring! We have another potential wedding or two this fall and it's exciting to see the business slowly start to grow. Of course, there is always more equipment to buy and we're really hoping to get to attend a conference or retreat perhaps by the end of the year.

Thanks for checking in & look for updates more and more in the coming months!
